UK Carpentry Business Gains Celebrity Status

Bespoke contemporary carpentry creations business, Empatika has won itself acclaimed recognition from a number of well-known British TV shows, magazines and prestigious clients.

Founder Tristan Titeux is widely recognised for his pioneering work and dedication to using sustainable and eco-friendly materials such as hemp board, bamboo, recycled bottle glass, straw and kokoboard. The custom made fitted furniture company is gaining rapid popularity amongst environmentally conscious Brits who appreciate meticulous craftsmanship and unique design.

Most recently, Tristan and the team were commissioned by Ty Pennington’s SKY TV series “Homes for the Brave” which sees the residences of British soldiers given much needed makeovers in anticipation of their return from some of the world’s most dangerous countries. The Empatika challenge was to design and build custom made living room storage units to sit on either side of a fire place owned by Dave and his wife Cath.

After a precarious tour in Afghanistan, Dave was desperate to add some character to his family home and transform it into a personal space in which his wife and two daughters could begin the next chapter of their lives together. The task also required Empatika to design a floating shelf to act as a mantelpiece to bridge the gap between the two units with a similar hearth like creation for the floor. Dave and Cath were thrilled with the final result and couldn’t thank the Empatika team enough for their efforts.

Tristan Titeux said, “It was a real honour to be asked to contribute to Homes for the Brave. We were delighted to be able to help make a cosy, welcoming and beautiful home for Dave and Cath.”

Empatika also made a special appearance on popular ITV show “60 Minute Makeover” where the team was asked to give a tailor-made marine themed facelift to an existing children’s wardrobe. Little Matthew was delighted with his new nautical themed room making the episode a truly heart-warming TV moment.

Titeux’s unique custom furniture business has been featured in an array of prestigious interior design and lifestyle magazines including Elle Décor, LivingEtc and westOne Exclusive. Empatika has also built custom made bookcases and storage units for iconic London landmark, Westminster Abbey.

Its association with prestigious clients and growing popularity with the British public is a testament to Empatika’s unique service and premium quality products.

Whether Titeux and the team are creating a one off piece of bedroom furniture, designing a complete home makeover package or featuring on a well-known TV show, they are dedicated to crafting specially made custom furnishings that are 100% natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly.
